Module
Calculating hurdle rates and minimum profitability – from total profit down to profitability on single deal level
Hybrid: online or in-person
Price: 990 EUR
Why do we talk about “bank management” when we have so far only looked in the “rearview mirror” of banking transactions that have already been completed? After starting with the bank’s overall ex post performance, we now move on to strategic planning. We show you approaches for optimizing the bank’s portfolio and understanding trade-offs in bank management. In this module, you will learn how to reconcile planning and performance management, both on an overall bank level and single deal level.
Learning objectives
After this module, …
- you will be able to implement a strategic plan and accompanying simulations,
- you will know how single deal perspectives can be aggregated towards an overall bank view and support optimizing the bank’s portfolio,
- you will know scenario techniques to understand the various trade-offs in bank management.
Target group
The program is intended for people working in the financial services industry (FSI) at all hierarchical levels who are interested in expanding or updating their knowledge of bank controlling.
